About Me:

Greetings! My name is Dr. Amanda Reioux and I hail from a small farming town in rural Indiana. After graduating from Earlham College, I moved to Washington, D.C. to attend law school. Once my law degree was completed, I continued my education by earning a PhD in Criminology, Law and Society from George Mason University.

I currently live with my husband and two kids in the Twin Cities, Minnesota - where I now call home. When I am not working, I enjoy hiking at state parks, going on road trips to explore the world, and trying my hand at arts and crafts. I have also been a hobby photographer since I was a teenager and enjoy taking photos in my spare time. Don’t hesitate to share your adventures with me!

Central to my services are the intersection of my identities - specifically that I am a neurodivergent, disabled, queer woman balancing professional commitments at levels suitable for maintaining my health. I seek to promote the visibility of these disadvantaged groups and hope with my continued success we can combat critique of those who are perceived as “less than” in United States’ society.

Solo-Practitioner and Small Law Firms

Reioux Research & Review offers behind the scenes legal research and writing for solo-practitioners and small law firms. I personally perform all work related to your project and do not outsource my work product for someone else to perform. In addition to drafting things such as memorandums to the court, I provide document review and proofreading services, along with citation review and the development of work cited pages when needed. My services are rarely exclusionary - if you have a problem in need of help, lets find a solution together!

Students in the Legal Field

Reioux Research & Review offers legal writing review, proofreading, and citations services for pre-law students, law students, and graduate students in the legal field.

Independent Research

Reioux Research & Review is involved in research projects involving societal issues relevant to the legal field.

Prices:

Solo-Practitioners and Small Law Firms

Hourly Rate

$135/hour Standard Project

$185/hour Expedited Project (final work product needed in three days or less)

Consultations, Estimates, Phone Calls, Texts, and Emails during the project are provided as a courtesy service. You will only be invoiced for the billable hours worked on the project. An agreement can be reached if the project exceeds the estimate before completion.

Students in the Legal Field

Flat rate depending on project specifications and client needs. The final product can include an explanation via video conferencing or phone call of the edits made in addition to the written product, if requested.
